The San Diego Parson Russell Terrier originated from the Fox Terriers of the 18th century. They are small sized terriers that are white in color. The breed is named after their creator; John ‘Jack’ Russell. The breed was first recognized in the United States in 1997 as the Jack Russell Terrier. The name was changed in 1999 and by 2000, the dog was known internationally by the name Parson Russell Terrier. This is a unique dog breed to add in the family.
