The Great Dane puppies San Diego are also referred to as the Danish Hound or the German Mastiff. They are domestic breeds that are best known for their large size. They are currently the largest dog breeds in the world growing to a height of up to 44 inches. These dog breeds were initially bred for wild boar and deer hunting.

    Description

The San Diego Great Dane puppies combine elegance and strength with their giant size and well formed muscular body. The breed is unique in that it is never clumsy and moves with a powerful drive. It has a strong galloping figure and a short haired coat. When comparing its height to its length, this breed has a square shape. Its tail is high set and is thicker at the base. Dewclaws may be removed. The most distinctive feature of this dog breed is the well arched neck which is both high set and muscular.

The Great Dane puppy San Diego has triangular ears. The ears are floppy. To prevent injuries, the ears were cropped in the past. This practice is, however, marginal especially in Europe. The breed is commonly adopted as a companion dog today.

The coat is short and very thick. There are six accepted coat colors for the Great Dane. They include fawn, brindle, blue, black, harlequin and mantle. There are other colors that present occasionally but are not show-accepted
