    Clumber Spaniel Puppies

    Of all spaniels, the Clumber spaniel puppies are the slowest and especially low built. All in all, these breed has the energy to work all day, trotting along in its signature slow and rolling gait. The dog appears to be dignified and somewhat pensive but it is very enthusiastic when it comes to work and play. It also has a beautiful coat that is white in color and may have markings of orange or lemon.

    Description

    The San Diego Clumber spaniel puppy is the smallest of spaniels. It has a heavy and long body which stands at 17 to 20 inches. Its shape closely resembles that of the Sussex spaniel. Its bone structure is heavy and its head massive. It has a sleepy or mournful expression. Its muzzle and nose is square and the ears are shaped like large vine leaves. This spaniel may have freckles on its front legs and muzzle.

    The coat is dense and weather resistant. It is a bit flat and feathering around its ears, legs and belly. The Clumber spaniel puppies San Diego are white in color. They have markings of brown, lemon or orange on the areas around their eyes and at the base of their tail.

    Temperament

    The Clumber spaniel puppies are described as being gentle, affectionate and loyal. They are, however, aloof and dignified around strangers. They enjoy curling up on the coach. Their shedding is moderate. Their droopy flews cause them to drool.

    In general, this breed has a mind of its own. The puppies are known to be particularly curious and very playful. The dog also has a tendency of carrying something around almost all the time. The downside is that this tendency may lead to health issues.

The dog may also suffer from anal sacs which may require the attention of the veterinarian. The breed is also heat sensitive because of its heavy build. They also have problems conceiving as well as giving birth and may require the caesarian sections. Other health issues include hip dysplasia, entropion or ectropion and spinal disc herniation.
