    Boston Terrier Puppies

    What sets the Boston Terrier apart from other admirable breeds is the unique personality. The key reason why the breed has a great personality is because it has high bulldog genes concentration. They are normally less excitable and have a gently trait with good manner. The Boston Terrier are known as the American Gentleman.

    History

    Just as the name depicts, the Boston Terrier puppies originated in Boston. It is among the few native breeds in the US. It was developed in the 1870s after breeding English Terriers with the English Bulldogs. Initially, they were referred to as Round Heads or the Bull Terriers. The present day name came into being in early 1890s.

    Appearance

    The San Diego Boston Terrier puppies have a short, compact and muscular body frame which is well balanced and has an elegant posture. Their head is wide and flat and proportioned to the body. The muzzle is square and has no wrinkles. The nose is big and black. The eyes, on the other hand, are set wide apart. The neck is arched and the chest is broad. The limbs are strong and the tail takes after the bulldog; it is short. The coat is smooth and comes in a variety of colors such as brindle & white, black & white or seal & white.

    Temperament

When playing outdoors, they need monitoring especially when the weather is hot. Their short snouts can make it difficult for them to breathe in the sun. It is the snout that causes them to drool and at times snort.

    Other than that, the Boston Terrier puppies do well in apartments. They only need daily walks and regular activities to shed extra energy.
